Singer Kehlani, known for hits like "After Hours," has found themselves in a real-life drama that makes even the wildest reality TV shows look tame. On Friday, Kehlani was granted a temporary restraining order against their ex, Javaughn Young-White, after accusing him of turning their life into a series of unfortunate events—minus the fun Lemony Snicket twist.

According to court documents, Kehlani decided enough was enough after enduring years of alleged physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. Apparently, the situation reached its boiling point in mid-June when Young-White, channeling his inner Hulk, allegedly smashed through their locked bedroom doors in a fit of rage. And no, this wasn’t because he lost a game of Candy Crush—he was reportedly furious because Kehlani dared to question him about applying for public assistance. Talk about a temper tantrum with a twist!

Adding fuel to the fire, Kehlani claimed that while living on their property, Young-White’s daily routine involved "smoking marijuana every day and all day" with a side of psychedelics. If only he put that much effort into parenting—or, you know, basic hygiene. Kehlani noted that when their daughter Adeya was in his care, she often came back "filthy and reeking of marijuana." Apparently, baths were optional in his world.

Describing Young-White’s emotional rollercoaster behavior, Kehlani painted a picture of a man who could give Oscar-worthy performances in the category of "Uncontrollable Anger and Rage." When he’s upset, the arms go flying, the yelling starts, and objects get airborne. It’s like watching a one-man show that nobody bought tickets for but can’t look away from.

After five years of what can only be described as a chaotic soap opera, Kehlani has finally decided to pull the plug, seeking peace for themselves and their daughter. The restraining order, which sounds like it was long overdue, is set to expire on September 3, unless the next episode of this legal drama extends it.

Of course, no saga would be complete without a dramatic counterclaim. Young-White took to social media to deny everything, even going as far as to say that Kehlani is the one who “busted through her own door” and is now framing him. He also tossed in a plot twist, accusing Kehlani of being in a “cult” that’s supposedly controlling every aspect of their life, including how they raise their child. You can’t make this stuff up, folks.

In response to the media frenzy, Kehlani assured everyone that the headlines were as accurate as a clickbait article, strongly denying any claims that they’d put their child in harm’s way. For now, the drama continues, but one thing’s for sure: Kehlani and Young-White’s relationship is anything but a love song.
