Vanessa Hudgens 'Ticked Off' Over Paparazzi Baby Pics Intrusion
Vanessa Hudgens is thrilled about her new role as a mom, but not so much about the way the news got out. The "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" star took to Instagram on Thursday to express her disappointment over paparazzi photos of her with her newborn.
“We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media. Despite all of that, mom, dad, and baby are happy and healthy,” Hudgens wrote.
The actress was referring to reports earlier in the week showing pictures of her leaving a hospital with her baby. While the announcement circumstances weren't ideal, Hudgens' Instagram post marked her first official confirmation of the birth, her first child with husband Cole Tucker.
Hudgens had previously revealed she was expecting during Oscars night in March, sharing the joyful news with fans. She and Tucker, a Major League Baseball outfielder, reportedly tied the knot in December in Tulum, Mexico, after getting engaged earlier in the year.
The couple was first linked in 2020 when Hudgens posted a "date night" photo and was later spotted holding hands with Tucker.
While the new mom is overjoyed with her family’s new addition, she’s clearly not a fan of the paparazzi’s sneaky tactics. Here's hoping for fewer long lenses and more family privacy in the future!
