Prince Harry "Bored" in the US as Friends Shun Visits Due to "Difficult" Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's American dream seems to be hitting some snags, as reports suggest the Duke is feeling increasingly bored and isolated. Harry's friends, it appears, are not keen on visiting him in the US, attributing their reluctance to his "difficult" wife, Meghan Markle.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex relocated to the celebrity enclave of Montecito, California, in 2020, trading their royal duties for a quieter life with their two children in a lavish 16-bedroom mansion. However, their transition hasn't been smooth sailing.

Harry recently skipped the wedding of his best friend Hugh Grosvenor in England, sparking rumors of a growing estrangement. Friends have reportedly shunned visits to the US, finding Meghan challenging to deal with. Royal expert Mr. Quinn noted, "Harry... is increasingly bored and looking back across the Atlantic where most of his army and school friends still live and whom he never sees because they won’t visit him in the States because they find Meghan difficult.”

Adding to their woes, the couple's $100 million Netflix deal could be at risk. Kinsey Schofield, host of the 'To Di For' podcast, emphasized the importance of their upcoming Netflix shows' success. Meghan has just wrapped filming a new cooking and home show, yet to be titled or scheduled for release. Schofield stated, "This is crucial that this is a success, because Harry and Meghan’s only commercial hit so far has been their docuseries which basically was hours and hours of ripping into the British royal family."

Harry’s estrangement isn’t limited to his friends. His army buddies reportedly feel betrayed by his candid revelations about his military service in his memoir "Spare." His last visit to the UK in May for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games saw him shunned by both friends and family, with King Charles hosting a garden party just miles away without extending an invitation to Harry.

As Harry grapples with his new life, he seems to be longing for the camaraderie of his old friends, who now view him as a "tree-hugger" and "woke." Meanwhile, the Sussexes' future in the entertainment industry hangs in the balance, relying heavily on the success of their upcoming projects.
