Camila Cabello's Comments on Drake and Kendrick Lamar Feud Spark Backlash
Camila Cabello has expressed her desire for "Hot Uptown" collaborator Drake and his rival Kendrick Lamar to reconcile, urging them to find "LUV." In an interview with Britain's "The Sunday Times," the "I LUV IT" singer suggested that the two rappers, who are involved in a high-profile feud, should resolve their differences over dinner.
"It’s so frustrating to see people talk about someone you know in a negative way. You’re like, ‘Dang, if only you guys could just have dinner or something,'" Cabello told The Times. The publication described her remarks as "sweet, if unlikely."
However, Cabello's comments have sparked controversy, as critics argue she is inappropriately inserting herself into a dispute between two Black rappers. This backlash has also led to the resurfacing of Cabello's past issues with race, adding to the criticism.
